Hey! Hi! Hello! I'm Alyssa.

I like seltzer, murder podcasts, laughing, and spending as much time as possible with my doggo, Olive.

I love building & fostering communities of people, planning & hosting events, and creating environments and opportunities for spiritual growth. I love teaching and leading teams and people. One of my favorite things is baking tasty treats for my friends (and soon to be friends).

I have a heart that aches deeply for authenticity so I love sharing about how I’m bumbling through (in all of the not pretty ways) this life and the many things I’m learning along this life journey with Jesus.

I write because it feels like breathing and bleeding and healing.

I started this blog (after starting & abandoning many blogs in my life) in 2015. I had just left my first job in ministry, completely burnt out, and moved back in with my parents. I was 27. My intention was to use this space to process and heal and grow. Most days I was too tired and too overwhelmed to write. Soul-healing is slow moving, hard work.

Now, I reserve this as a place for me to process, pray, confess, & share as I continue to grow and learn about myself & the God I was created to worship--in spirit and in truth.

Thanks for reading and just being here! You're already supremely awesome in my book!
